Chelsea Boxwell, a Texas native now based in Los Angeles, holds a BFA from the University of North Texas (2013) and an MFA from Claremont Graduate University (2017) in Studio Art. As a painter and large-scale installation artist, she creates "multi-dimensional paintings," combining paintings and sparkling fabrics into expansive environments to amplify viewer interactions. Chelsea has an ongoing series of “Candy Paintings" featuring similar elements and actually are painted simultaneously.
